Cost Includes:

  • Hotel Accommodations: 1 Night in Choptha, 2 night in Govind Ghat, 2 nights in Ghangria and 1 Rishikesh (3/4 sharing basis)

Detailed Itinarary -

       Day 1: Embark on the Journey to Chopta

  • Morning (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM): Start your adventure early Pickup from Haridwar to Chopta, the base camp for your trek. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours, covering a distance of 250 km.( Breakfast own expenses )

  • Evening (5:00 PM - 6: PM): Upon reaching Chopta, check into your hotel. Refresh yourself and enjoy a hearty Dinner     

  • Day 2: Ascend to Tungnath and Witness the Divine

  • Morning (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM): Wake up early to the crisp mountain air and enjoy a filling breakfast.

  • Morning (7 AM ): Embark on the trek to Tungnath, one of the Panch Badri temples. The trail is moder

  • Around  (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM): Reach Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Admire the architectural beauty of the temple and soak in the divine atmosphere.

  • Afternoon (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM): Embark on the ascent to Chandrashila, the highest point in the Tungnath region. The trail is steep and requires a good level of fitness. Enjoy a packed lunch at Tungnath while savoring the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

  • Afternoon (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM): Descend to Chopta, taking your time to appreciate the changing landscapes and the setting sun.

  • Evening (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM): Indulge in a hearty dinner and share the day's experiences with fellow trekkers.

Day 3: Scenic Drive from Chopta to Govindghat

  • Morning (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM): Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Chopta.

  • Morning (7:00 AM ): Embark on a scenic drive from Chopta to Govindghat, the gateway to Valley of Flowers. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, covering a distance of 180 km (112 miles). Enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Himalayas along the way.

  • Mid - Day (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM): Upon arrival in Govindghat, check into your pre-booked guesthouse and freshen up.

  • Afternoon (1:00PM): Embark on the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, a beautiful meadow nestled amidst mountains. The trail is moderate and takes around 3-4 hours, with stunning views of waterfalls and valleys.

  • Evening (5:00 PM ): Reach Ghangaria, also known as Gangotri. Check into your Campsite. & Explore Ghangaria and its surroundings. Visit the Sikh Gurudwara, a holy place offering free langar (community kitchen meal) to all visitors. and enjoy a delicious Dinner.

  • Day 4 : Immerse Yourself in the Valley of Flowers

    • Morning (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM): Savor a filling breakfast to prepare for the day's adventure.

    • Morning (8:00 AM): Embark on the much-anticipated trek to the Valley of Flowers. The trail is relatively easy and takes around 2-3 hours to complete.

    • Mid-Morning (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Arrive at the Valley of Flowers and be mesmerized by the vibrant tapestry of wildflowers. Spend a few hours exploring the valley, capturing photos, and soaking in the beauty of nature.

    • Afternoon (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Descend back to Ghangaria, enjoying the scenic trails and the cool mountain air.

    • Evening (5:00 PM - onwards): Indulge in a hearty dinner and share the day's experiences with fellow trekkers. Participate in bonfire gatherings or simply relax under the starlit sky.

  • Day 5: Descend from Ghangaria and Return to Rishikesh

    • Morning (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM): Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, savoring your last meal in the mountains.

    • Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Trek back from Ghangaria to Govindghat. The descent is easier than the ascent and takes approximately 3-4 hours.

    • Afternoon (1:00 PM ): Start journey back from Govindghat to Rishikesh.

      The drive takes about 5-7 hours, offering a final glimpse of the Himalayas.

  • Day 6: Rishikesh

    •  You can indulge in adventure activities like bungee jumping or white water rafting on the Ganges River. 
    • Make sure to book your spot in advance for bungee jumping as it is a popular activity.
    • In the Evening attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har ki Pauri. Witness the mesmerizing spectacle of hundreds of diyas (earthen lamps) being offered to the Ganges river as a prayer.
    • In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Haridwar and witness the mesmerizing display of lights and chants.This will mark the end of your spiritual and adventurous Trip with life time memories. ( Breakfast & Dinner on own expenses )









Here is a list of things to carry:

When going on a trek, it's essential to pack the right items to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Bags: Along with your luggage, Choose a small but sturdy bag (recommended size 15 to 25ltrs)  backpack with proper support and adjustable straps to carry the trek essentials (i.e., Water bottles, A pair of clothes, towel & toiletries)

Trekking Shoes: A good pair of trekking shoes that provide ankle support, good grip (on both rock and sand), and are comfortable for long walks.

Clothing: Pack moisture-wicking and quick-drying clothing suitable for the trek (Dry-fit), including:
T-shirts
Long-sleeved shirts/wears
Trekking pants/convertible pants
Extra Pair of Socks and Innerwears
Swimsuit & head cap (optional if swimming on beaches)

Trekking Gear:
Trekking poles (optional but helpful for steep descents or difficult terrain)
Headlamp/flashlight
Water bottle or hydration bladder
Sun protection hat/cap
Sunglasses
Sunscreen lotion and lip balm

Advance payment of 30% against confirmation. Balance of 70% while boarding.

Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 
- Cancellations made 7 days prior to the date of journey are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 4 days of the journey date may incur a cancellation fee.
- No refund shall be initiated against the cancellation made within 24hrs from the date of journey.

Health and Fitness:
- Participants must be in good physical/mental health and have the necessary fitness level to undertake the trek.
- It is recommended to consult a medical professional before participating, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. 
- It is the participant's responsibility to inform the trek organizer of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their ability to participate in the trek.

Safety:
- Participants are required to follow the instructions of the trek guide at all times to ensure their safety.
- The trek organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the trek in case of any unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns.


Liability:
- Participants join the trek at their own risk and the organizers will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss, or damage during the trek.
- Trekkar India does not take responsibility for the loss/damage of any personal belongings
- It is advised to have personal travel insurance that covers adventure activities and trekking.**

Itinerary change:
- The trek organizer reserves the right to modify the itinerary or make necessary changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other factors beyond their control.
- Participants will be notified of any significant changes to the itinerary as and when it occurs.

Environmental Responsibility:
- Participants are expected to strictly respect and preserve the natural environment at the entire trip.
- Littering, damaging, malpractice or any illegal activities that harm the ecosystem is strictly prohibited.

Code of Conduct:
- Participants are expected to respect the ethnicity, culture, environment of the place of visit and fellow trekkers.
- Any behavior that is deemed disrespectful, harmful, or illegal may result in immediate expulsion from the trek without any refund.
