About Bandaje Trek
Bandaje, also known as Bandaje Arbi, is a hidden gem in Karnataka. Nestled in the Western Ghats, it's a 200-foot waterfall accessible only by trekking through dense forests and grasslands. Local guides are recommended to avoid getting lost. The trek offers stunning views and culminates in a refreshing dip at the falls. However, the falls can dry up in summer, so plan your visit accordingly.

Kyathanamakki trek is an awe-inspiring adventure, encompassing breathtaking
natural beauty and thrilling challenges. This trek takes you through verdant
forests, steep hills, and cascading waterfalls, offering a perfect escape from the
mundane. As you ascend, the panoramic views of lush valleys and mist-covered
mountains captivate your senses. The trail presents a test of endurance and
determination, with its rugged terrain and occasional slippery patches. Each
step forward brings you closer to the summit, where a sense of

Trip Itinerary:
Day 1:
- 7:00 AM : Arrive at the homestay, relax, and enjoy some hot beverages.
- Room allocation.
- 9:00 AM : Breakfast.
- Depart for Kyatanamakki checkpoint to begin a short trek.
- 11:00 AM : Visit the Buddha temple en route.
- 12:00 PM : Arrive at Kyathanamakki Viewpoint and enjoy the 360-degree view.
- 2:00 PM : Return to the Homestay.
- 2:30 PM : Lunch at the homestay.
- 3:00 PM : Depart for Kalasa.
- 3:30 PM : Visit the Kalasa Hanging Bridge.
- 4:30 PM : Visit Samse Tea Estate.
- 5:00 PM : Visit Hornadu/Kalaseshwar Temple (optional).
- 6:30 PM : Return to the homestay and enjoy snacks.
- 7:30 PM : Campfire, music, and group activities (weather permitting).
- 8:30 PM : Dinner.
- 9:00 PM : Rest for the day.
Day 2 :
- 6:00 AM : Wake-up call and enjoy the sunrise from the homestay.
- 7:00 AM : Freshen up and pack bags.
- 7:30 AM : Breakfast.
- 8:00 AM : Check out from the homestay.
Note: Please wear cotton clothing and trekking shoes.
- 9:30 AM : Arrive at Bandaje parking point and enjoy a local jeep ride to the forest checkpoint.
- 10:00 AM : Begin the trek to Bandaje Peak.
- 2:00 PM : Lunch (packed) at the peak of Bandaje Falls, enjoying the views and sounds of nature.
- 3:00 PM : Start the journey back to the base point.
- 5:00 PM : Take another jeep ride to Kodige Falls.
- 6:00 PM : After enjoying the falls, take a jeep back to the vehicle.
- 7:00 PM : Depart for Bangalore.
- 9:00 PM : Dinner stop en route (not included).
- 4:00 AM : Arrive in Bangalore and drop off at the same locations.

Advance payment of 30% against confirmation. Balance of 70% while boarding.

Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made 7 days prior to the date of journey are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 4 days of the journey date may incur a cancellation fee.
- No refund shall be initiated against the cancellation made within 24hrs from the date of journey.
Health and Fitness:
- Participants must be in good physical/mental health and have the necessary fitness level to undertake the trek.
- It is recommended to consult a medical professional before participating, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
- It is the participant's responsibility to inform the trek organizer of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their ability to participate in the trek.
Safety:
- Participants are required to follow the instructions of the trek guide at all times to ensure their safety.
- The trek organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the trek in case of any unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns.
Liability:
- Participants join the trek at their own risk and the organizers will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss, or damage during the trek.
- Trekkar India does not take responsibility for the loss/damage of any personal belongings
- It is advised to have personal travel insurance that covers adventure activities and trekking.**
Itinerary change:
- The trek organizer reserves the right to modify the itinerary or make necessary changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other factors beyond their control.
- Participants will be notified of any significant changes to the itinerary as and when it occurs.
Environmental Responsibility:
- Participants are expected to strictly respect and preserve the natural environment at the entire trip.
- Littering, damaging, malpractice or any illegal activities that harm the ecosystem is strictly prohibited.
Code of Conduct:
- Participants are expected to respect the ethnicity, culture, environment of the place of visit and fellow trekkers.
- Any behavior that is deemed disrespectful, harmful, or illegal may result in immediate expulsion from the trek without any refund.
