Netravati Peak :
The Netravati Peak Trek is one of the most popular treks in Karnataka. It is located in the Western Ghats, about 300 km from Bangalore. The trek is about 4-5 km long and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. The peak is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the rare Lion-tailed Macaque.
Didupe and Ermayi Waterfalls
The Didupe and Ermayi Waterfalls Trek is a moderate trek located in the Kudremukh National Park in Karnataka, India. The trek is about 4 km long and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. The trek takes you through lush green forests and rolling hills. You will also cross several streams and waterfalls. The Didupe Falls is a cascading waterfall that is perfect for swimming and refreshing. The Ermayi Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall that is located deep in the forest. The best time to do the trek is between October and March. The peak season is from January to March.
Itinerary
Day 1
- On Friday, Get picked up in Bangalore from the following points and start your Nethravathi trekking tour.
- Begin your overnight journey to Nethravathi.
- On the first day of your Nethravathi trek, you will reach Nethravathi around 06:00 AM.
- After having breakfast, we will reach the base camp.
- By 08:00 AM, we will start trekking to the top of Nethravathi Peak which is around 21 KM both the ways.
- En route to the peak, have lunch in the midway.
- Once we reach the top, all of us can enjoy the relishing view of the serenity the peak has to offer.
- Return to the base camp around 06:00 PM after a trek to Nethravathi.
- Enjoy the bonfire.
- Have the lip-smacking dinner and retire for the night.
Day 2
- 7:00 am wake up and freshen up.
- 8:00 am breakfast.
- 9:00 am check out from the homestay and start the day to didupe waterfalls
- 12:00 pm reach Didupe waterfalls and start trek to base or 12:00 pm start journey towards ermayi waterfalls ( Depending on the weather and availability )
- 5:00 pm start the journey towards Dhamasthala
- 8:00 pm journey towards Bangalore with life time of memories
